Mrs. Ceola H. Thomas was born January 2, 1917 in Madison, Florida, to the late Mr. Jesse and Mrs. Mary Green Hubbard. She was the last living child of thirteen children (Jessie, Lizzie, Mary, Anna, Arthur Jay, Martha, Hattie, Florence, Isaac, James, Rebecca, and Johnny).

Mrs. Thomas attended the local public schools in Madison, FL. She accepted Christ at an early age and enjoyed participating in Sunday School activities.

She married her high school sweetheart the late John Thomas.  They later relocated to Jacksonville, FL.  While in Jacksonville, she worked in the dry cleaning industry as a pressor.

She loved to cook, fish, and eat good food.  She was always a joy to be around and her family loved her dearly.

She is survived by her nephews Isaac D. Simmons (Emma), Jacksonville, Fl., Eugene Simmons, Miami, Fl., and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
