Carris Jackson

Momma was a member of Mt. Zion AME Church for nearly sixty years.  Her favorite activities were the choir and Sunday School.  The church's musical director Dr. Carolyn Ray started a Christmas Concert over forty-seven years ago comprised of members from various churches.  Momma performed in many of those wonderful concerts, and attended many others.

Wake: Friday, May 24th 3pm - 6pm, Cooks and Cooper Funeral Home, 162 SW Third Ave, Madison, FL 32340; fish fry follows at the home of Jesse Solomon, 205 W. Bunker Street, Madison, FL 32340

Funeral: Saturday, May 25th at 11am; Mt. Zion AME Church; 576 W. Dade Street, Madison, FL 32340. Interment follows at Oak Ridge Cemetery (by North Florida College **new name for old NFCC), Repast will follow at Mt. Zion AME.

Please bring any food or drinks to 126 SW Lee Street, Madison, FL 32340; Saturday, Mt. Zion will be available after 8:30am for drop-off of food, cakes, etc. Request vegetables, water, drinks, and cornbread.
