Carolyn Brown Obituary

Carolyn Jean Brown was born on February 19, 1949 in
Sanford, Florida to the late Henry Lee and Catherine (Delaughter) Brown.
She graduated from Crooms High School in 1967. Shortly after high school graduation the family relocated to
Rochester, NY where Carolyn was employed at GM
Rochester Products for over 30 years as a Carborator
Inspector and general laborer before retiring.
Carolyn from childhood was an avid reader and enjoyed books of many genres. She was known for her witty sense of humor, and loved to laugh and socialize with family and friends. Her favorite pass time was spoiling her son, grandchildren and her pet dog “Lady”.
Later in her adult, Carolyn developed an interest in
personal health and fitness and was a longtime member of the Rochester Athletic Club For Women. She enjoyed weightlifting, cycling and taking pilates classes.
During her retirement years she spent time working with individuals with brain injuries and other neurological
challenges at the Hickok Center. She was also a faithful member of Koinonia Fellowship in East Rochester where she was a member for over 16 years.
Predeceased by her brother, Harold Brown, she leaves to cherish her memory: her son Michael (Jackqulyn) Brown: grandchildren Michael Zaire Harold, Miles Emmanual Robert and Mikaela Catherine-Lee Brown; her life companion Kenneth Rivers, daughter Christa (Andre Sr.) and grandchildren Andre Jr. and Myles Madry. Her neph-ew Kenneth Anderson, Uncle David Delaughter, Aunts Naomi Anderson, Lavern Lamb, Dorthenia McCloud, Mary Holloway, Betty Delaughter all of the state of Flori-da, and a host of other relatives and friends
